Venue

Situated in the heart of theatreland in a quiet oasis mere moments from Mayfair, Ham Yard is urban renewal at its best. Previously a deserted ¾ acre site, it has been transformed into an all-new village reopening historic Ham Yard and connecting Great Windmill and Denman Streets via a tree-filled public thoroughfare.

With a striking interior designed by Kit Kemp, famous artworks are juxtaposed beside up-and-coming ones. Artworks range from Tony Cragg’s sculpture at the centre of the hotel’s courtyard, to the mesmerising A Million Times installation by Humans since 1982 and Martha Freud’s 32 glowing porcelain pots, which feature in the restaurant.

This design flair continues on the striking events floor which, alongside the state-of-the-art theatre and Dive Bar (named in honour of a three ft neon lit lady diver hanging on the wall) which we will be occupying, also houses an original 1950’s bowling alley imported from Texas.

It’s a funky and intriguing venue, which we’re certain you’ll enjoy spending the day in.
