Adrian has at various times been a lecturer in Psychology at the University of Oxford, Professor of Psychology at University College London, and Visiting Professor of Management at Henley Management College. He is currently the Principal Psychologist at Stamford Associates.

His presentation will consider leadership, specifically: how many CEOs are now in prison? What percentage of senior managers fail and derail? Is leadership in a law firm different from any other firm?

Adrian will also discuss the difference between leadership emergence and effectiveness, the main indicators of potential derailment and the legal implications of selecting for so-called Dark Side characteristics.

And perhaps most interestingly of all: how can we select those who succeed and flourish rather than fail?
