Building healthy workplace cultures; reflections from the frontline



Tender has been working with children and young people for almost 20 years to promote healthy, respectful relationships. In recent years Tender has realised that this method – creating safe spaces in which people can explore difficult and sensitive issues – can be equally effective in the workplace as it can in a school. Organisations are increasing their focus on issues around bullying, harassment and discrimination, diversity & inclusion, against a backdrop of campaigns and initiatives including #MeToo and “Everyone’s Invited”.

Tender has worked closely with businesses from a range of industries including banking, law and construction. This session will be a chance to hear Susie McDonald’s reflections on how organisations can successfully create workplace cultures that enable staff to feel included and welcome, prevent inappropriate behaviour escalating and therefore avoid crisis management.
